The project scope involved developing a self-supporting display capable of holding more than 20 postcards using only a single sheet of paper, without any glue or additional fastening elements.

 

Throughout the research and prototyping process, it became clear that the structure's strength depended less on the material itself and more on how it was manipulated. This insight guided the project toward a solution inspired by the principles of modern architecture.

 

The final solution was a single-piece flat layout designed to distribute structural loads through strategically placed folds and interlocking tabs. Multiple prototypes were developed to refine every detail, achieving the right balance between strength, stability, and ease of assembly.

 

The result was a compact display that could be produced from a single A4 sheet of paper while supporting more than 20 postcards without the use of glue. Beyond meeting the project's technical requirements, the design demonstrated how structural thinking can transform a simple material into a functional, cost-effective, and efficient solution.
